Recent work includes:
Writing the Century 9, the full cast BBC Radio 4 drama for Woman's Hour, playing the secretary of Linton Andrew's, former editor of the Yorkshire Post.

To sample Martine’s mumsy, authoritative voice listen to Kerrupt Animations Little Joe character which can be heard on the Animation page, along with animation shorts by award winning animator Kath Shackleton.
In World Wide Pictures' Paws on the Moors animation Martine played 2 roles - Tessa (a very posh dog) and Jean, a scatty middle aged dog owner from Manchester in this animated story with lots of 'behaviour', countryside advice and one or two ticks!
Q and D Multimedia’s Strumbie Island Martine’s multiple-role (11 in all) island of caricatures in this gentle educational animation for the Under 5’s ranged from accident prone fathers to tweens, toddlers, bullies and a girl with a very bad cold, voicing various ages and stages of chronic cold, shyness, sneezing, laughing, long-jumping and strawberry eating contests.
Little Red Hiding Wood for ShooFly Publishing offered a traditional tale as a narrative poem. Both projects were enormous fun and in the limelight again at the BETT Awards.
With UK TV Drama Martine coaxed you to try Soya Milk, on Sky, while as the voice of the Co-op, Martine often suggested that we BOGOF in-store!
Projects for the corporate, tourism and educational sectors include York Boat’s audio Time Tour – a dramatic and gruesome history of York and My Knowledge Map’s business Multi-Port e-Portfolio and Capability Matrix study guides.
Other recordings include Talking Heads - gritty contemporary drama for Radio, by Helen Shay and The Lyrical Ballads, the first of a series of literature and poetry resources for Zig Zag Education.
Not all Martine's voice work involves narration or characters for children’s books and animation. Martine’s genuine British neutral accent (native South) and easy RP have been used for a huge range of corporate and commercial voiceovers in Britain and internationally.
Described as authoritative, energetic, mumsy and strong – Martine is not only used for her comedy Repertoire but the ability to play a wide range of ages, real person, zany and inanimates for adverts and promos, dramatic ‘in-situ’ narratives and documentaries as well as conversational, straight narration, infomercial and lyrical.
Other work includes seasonal Christmas sweepers and ads for WRBS Radio (USA), TV bumpers, e-guides, technical and medical reads, industrial projects, interactives, travel guides, Arts and Heritage projects and Audio-Description.
