POETRY, PROSE, DRAMA, PUBLIC SPEAKING. Learn some tips of the trade.
This Workshop combines performance, follow-up Spoken Word Skills activity session and, if required, culminating in a Group Recital by the workshop participants.
This is a very interactive day exploring vocal, reading and presentation techniques to create a themed ensemble entertainment with material of their choice. The group will select from a variety of forms of literature suitable for live communication with an audience to devise a balanced theatrical programme. Solo items in performance will allow individuals to play to their particular strengths and interests.
Option 2 – RECORDED MEDIA
Planning an Audiobook Documentary, Docu / Drama or Podcast?
This Workshop is similar in structure to Option 1 but with techniques and material developing spoken word and reading skills for studio situations and a ‘listening only' audience. A wide range of audio material will be covered to give an introduction to the world of audio. If you're wondering what the voiceover artist does to create the right style and sound for the subject then this workshop is for you.

An end of session recording is optional. If you don't have recording facilities the workshop is available as a process / skills development only activity.
